Dr. Qiang Cao is a distinguished scholar at Macau University of Science and Technology and Kunming University of Science and Technology. Dr. Cao's work is well recognized in the academic community, as evidenced by his publication of over 20 papers in prestigious SCI/SSCI journals, several of which he has served as the first or corresponding author. His research including the therapeutic efficacy of leonurine alkaloid in the treatment of cancer, mechanisms of antitumor action of BCL-2 inhibitor, and the impact of concurrent bacterial lung infection on immunotherapy in patients with non-small cell lung cancer. She has received 18 notable awards, including the United Nations Environment Programme Youth Excellence Award. Since 2022, she has engaged in various significant research activities, including participating in research courses at Stanford University under the mentorship of a tenured professor and completing an online course on medical law at the University of Pennsylvania with a full scholarship. Liangjing Xia has published six academic papers, including four in SCI journals, with two as the first author. These works have collectively been cited 23 times. Additionally, she holds two authorized patents. Her research interests span the enzymatic synthesis of pharmaceuticals, the addiction mechanisms of natural compounds, and the pharmacological effects of active ingredients in traditional Chinese medicine.
